OUR HISTORY
Timi Ogunyemi & Co. was established in March 2024 by Timi Ogunyemi, the firm's Founding and Managing Partner, with a clear purpose: to build a modern, commercially minded law firm that provides practical, innovative, and results-driven legal solutions to individuals, businesses, institutions, and emerging enterprises.
Although the firm was formally established in 2024, its professional heritage is strengthened by legal experience dating back to 2008. Our Of Counsel, Professor Tunji Ogunyemi, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007 and brings nearly two decades of legal knowledge, professional insight, and strategic guidance to the firm — a blend of established experience and contemporary thinking that lets us approach complex legal and commercial matters with confidence and precision.
Today, the firm comprises a growing team of four lawyers, supported by dedicated administrative professionals, advising clients across corporate governance and regulatory compliance, corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, taxation, employment and labour law, intellectual property and data protection, litigation, immigration, real estate, transportation, agribusiness, start-up advisory, power and renewable energy, and sports, entertainment and media law.
